Friscous at the 75th Venice Film Festival

Leonardo Vescera, renowned chef of the *Il Capriccio* restaurant in Vieste, has gained top-level experience in fine dining around the world: Portugal, Switzerland, the United States, Moscow, London at the court of Queen Elizabeth, the Italian Embassy in Paris, the Kulm in St. Moritz, La Frasca in Castrocaro Terme, and for two years at the historic Don Alfonso in Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi (NA), to name just a few.

His cuisine is *fusion* cuisine, combining the authenticity and freshness of ingredients with Italian creativity, the refinement of French gastronomy, and preparation techniques learned throughout his long and rich career, such as the Japanese techniques of sushi masters and raw seafood.

During the first three evenings of the 75th Venice International Film Festival of La Biennale, scheduled from August 29 to September 8, 2018, wine and food consultant Manuela Mancino and chef Leonardo Vescera, as part of the Priceless initiatives, will offer distinguished guests and international celebrities a signature menu inspired by the gastronomic excellences of Puglia, reinterpreted in a contemporary key—of which Friscous is a fine expression.

The exclusive Palazzo Nani Bernardo will provide the setting for the event.
