Ingredients for 2 people
- 200 g precooked borlotti beans
- 120 g mixed pasta (or other short format)
- 80 g Friscous
- 2 tablespoons tomato purée
- 40 g aged lard in slices
- 1 clove of garlic
- a sprig of rosemary
- extra virgin olive oil to taste
- salt to taste
Procedure
Mash half of the drained beans with a fork. Sauté in a pot a peeled and crushed clove of garlic and add the beans, 2 tablespoons of tomato purée and a little salt. Mix everything and let it flavor for a few minutes over moderate heat. Remove the garlic and pour about 700 ml of water into the pot, bring to a boil and add the pasta. Stir it from time to time. Meanwhile, cut the lard slices into pieces. Halfway through cooking the pasta, add the beans you set aside, the lard and the rosemary sprig. Stir everything and let it cook slowly. Distribute the pasta and beans on the plates and serve adding a generous handful of Friscous®.
